Creating a VMServer NAS using FreeNAS for Apache Files

MJS1.com has an interesting post about using FreeNAS with VMware to store web files for an apache server.

The author wanted to create a NAS on a Virtual machine to store webfiles.  This would allow a good separation of program files and content files. The idea is to create a NAS on a virtual server as a virtual machine, mount the NAS on the webserver and then setup apache to be able to access it.
