		<description>try browsing to the shared folder you need secure permission on (no delete) - right click and select properties &gt;&gt; security &gt;&gt; advanced &gt;&gt; edit.
select the user(s) and/or user group (easier)
select edit
select apply to folder and/or subfolders
select appropriate options (delete, delete subfolders/files)
click ok!
that should do it.
please note - im am not an expert, i have not extensively tested this. there maybe a loophole in this, or a faster way to do it (chmod FTW!)

i Really like using it even though im new to it, it gives a real relief regarding file backups...

I just noticed that file permission and restriction was not that uhmn, well maybe it&#039;s just me...

I need to configure this..

   the user can copy paste and create file in the freenas but he/she must not able to delete it...

For now that&#039;s is my dream come true about freenas...
